you start trying to prefix windows commands like ipconfig with sudo.
c:\sudo ipconfig
does not work

I just want to take a moment to state that your choice of anti-virus protection needs to take into consideration more then just its detection rate and cost, but how well the company tests it’s updates before they put them out.
After today’s horrible release from McAfee it should make it more then clear to anyone who has witness the disruption to computer operations felt by those running this software.
When your anti-virus program deleted critical files from your operating system and forces you to do a major system repair or a reimage/rebuild of a computer its time to start thinking about a change of software.
I have not and never will suggest anyone buy or use McAfee products. Thats extremely reinforced by the work that they caused myself and the rest of the techs with my current employer.

As of today (2-19-10) Thermaltake has a bunch of refurbs at some pretty decent prices on this special website. If a bunch of bills didn’t need to be paid today, there are a few thing I would be picking up. So I though I’d pass this on to the 2 or 3 people who may stumble across the site.

After doing a little research, I’ve decided that Black Flag Designs is going to start offering another branch of service.
Introducing our survey service.

Google is looking to do a great fiber project.
What this means is a google owned ISP that would bring ultra highspeed internet via fiber to the home. They would offer speed that is just unheard of in our area.
